Maymun al-Kurdi narrated from his father, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“
Any man who marries a woman for a dowry, whether small or large, while having no intention of giving her due right, has deceived her. If he dies without having given her right, he will meet Allah on the Day of Resurrection as a fornicator. And any man who takes out a debt with no intention of repaying its owner, taking his money through deception, and then dies without repaying his debt, will meet Allah as a thief.”
