‘Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“

O ‘Ali, beware of the supplication of one who has been wronged, for he is only asking Allah for his rightful due, and Allah does not withhold from anyone what is rightfully theirs.

”
