He witnessed the Prophet ﷺ when a messenger came to give him the good news of his army’s victory over their enemies. The Prophet's head was resting in the lap of Aisha (RA). Upon hearing the news, he stood up and prostrated [in gratitude]. Then, he started asking the messenger about the details, who informed him that the one in charge of the enemy's affairs was a woman.The Prophet ﷺ then said: 'Now, men will perish if they obey women, men will perish if they obey women', and he repeated this statement three times.
