Takhrij Hadith 720: "A time will come upon…"

A time will come upon my nation when they will love five things and forget five things: They will love the worldly life and forget the Hereafter; they will love wealth and forget the Reckoning; they will love the creation and forget the Creator; they will love palaces and forget the graves; they will love acts of disobedience and forget repentance. If this becomes the case, Allah will afflict them with soaring prices, epidemics, sudden death, and the tyranny of rulers.
