Takhrij Hadith 753: "I said: "O Messenger of…"

I said: "O Messenger of Allah, a man from my people insults me, even though he is beneath me in status. Is there any blame upon me if I retaliate against him?" The Prophet ﷺ said: "The two who exchange insults are two devils, reviling one another and telling lies about one another."
