Takhrij Hadith 808: "My brother and I went…"

My brother and I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I said: "O Messenger of Allah, our mother, during the pre-Islamic period, used to show hospitality to guests and maintain the ties of kinship. Will those deeds benefit her in any way?" He replied: "No". I then said: "She also buried one of her sisters alive during the pre-Islamic period before she had reached the age of accountability". The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The girl who was buried alive and the woman who buried her are in the Fire, unless the woman who buried her lived to embrace Islam".
