Hadith 883: "The bonds of Islam will surely be broken,..."

On the authority of Abu Umamah al-Bahili, who reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“

The bonds of Islam will surely be broken, one by one. Whenever a bond is broken, people will cling to the one that follows it. The first of them to be broken will be governance (judgment according to Allah's law), and the last of them will be prayer.

”
