Takhrij Hadith 887: "A servant will be brought…"

A servant will be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection, and his record will be handed to him. He will not find his prayers or his fasting recorded in it, though he will find his other righteous deeds. He will say: "My Lord, this is not my record. I had good deeds that are not in this record". It will be said to him: "Indeed, your Lord neither errs nor forgets. Your deeds have been erased because of your backbiting of people".
