Takhrij Hadith 944: "A Bedouin came to the…"
On the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, who said:
“
A Bedouin came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and asked: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a father, a mother, a brother, a sister, a paternal uncle, a paternal aunt, a maternal uncle, a maternal aunt, a grandfather, and a grandmother. Which of them is most deserving of my dutifulness?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, replied: "Honor your mother, then your father, then your sister, then your brother". Thus, he mentioned the mother before the men.”
