On the authority of 'Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O ‘Aisha, a house in which there are no dates, its people are hungry. O ‘Aisha, a house in which there are no dates, its people are hungry - or - its people go hungry". He said it two or three times".
