Takhrij Hadith 1228: "Keep women in their homes,…"
On the authority of 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, who said:
“
Keep women in their homes, for women are 'awrah (something that should be concealed and protected). Indeed, when a woman leaves her home, Satan looks at her (seeking to tempt her or to tempt others through her) and says to her: "You do not pass by anyone except that he is impressed by you."”
