Takhrij Hadith 1367: "Whenever the Prophet ﷺ was…"

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ was given a choice between two matters, he would choose the easier of the two, so long as it did not involve sin. But if it involved sin, he would be the furthest of people from it. By Allah, he never took revenge for his own sake over anything done to him, but when the sacred limits of Allah were violated, he would take revenge for the sake of Allah.
