Takhrij Hadith 734: "While he was speaking to…"

While he was speaking to some people and joking with them, making them laugh, the Prophet ﷺ lightly poked him in the waist with a stick. He said: “Let me retaliate”. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Then do so”. He replied: “You are wearing a shirt, while I am not”. So the Prophet ﷺ lifted his shirt, whereupon Usayd embraced him and began kissing his side. Then he said: “This is all I wanted, O Messenger of Allah”.
