Takhrij Hadith 993: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ…"

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led the prayer on the day of 'Eid al-Fitr or 'Eid al-Adha. Then he turned away, and Ubayy, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf, and 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr followed him, and I followed them until we reached the butchers near the house of Abu Kathir. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to them: "Do not skin your slaughtered animals until they have died. Do not outbid one another in trade, do not artificially inflate prices through false bidding, do not intercept goods before they reach the market, and do not hoard goods."
